The Northern Lights Festival Boreal is preparing for its 36th annual festival, July 6,7,8 at Bell Park in Downtown Sudbury on the shores of Ramsey Lake. After the sold out success of last year with Blue Rodeo, Jeff Healey’s Jazz Wizards, The Whiteley Brothers, Mose Scarlett, Jackie Washington and much more… This year’s NLFB will try to top even that!

We’ll have great kids activities and music on the family area stage all day long… there will be even more in the Greenville area and the Arts Village for everyone to do… there will be international food and great music workshops throughout the day, combining all of the fantastic musicians at the festival into various collaborations. In addition, we'll have a great addition of healing arts workshops that are free for all festival patrons!

As always, we’ll also feature crafters and venders from around the province, showing off handmade goods and items that you just can’t find anyplace else other than a folk festival.

You can also enjoy the festival from the inside by becoming a volunteer for the event… there’s plenty to do, plenty of fun to have and a whole new angle to see the concerts from!
