Minnow Lake Days is held each July at the newly named "Minnow Lake Place" (the former St. Jean School) as part of the Sudbury Blueberry Festival.  The three day festival kicks off with the annual Miss Minnow Lake Pageant. Highlights of the Festival are the  Minnow Lake "Blueberry Idol" show, a fishing derby, watermelon spitting contest, bike races and Family Fun Days. The golf and baseball tournaments are always a huge draw as well. Besides making use of the spacious grounds of Minnow Lake Place, the Festival occupies  one of the community access rooms for an art display and face painting.  The Gymnasium hosts children's activities each year.   All proceeds from the Festival are directed to projects throughout Minnow Lake.
