Sudbury
Farmers Market
is transformed into a magical Christmas Village from November 15 - 27
each year during the Annual Lung Association Festival of Trees presented
by Falconbridge Limited. All Sudburians and their families can "catch
the spirit" over the Holidays by viewing and bidding on over 60 beautifully
decorated wreaths and Christmas Trees while enjoying musical performances
by local musicians as well as activities for the children. Admission to
the festival is by voluntary donation. All funds raised in Sudbury will
stay in the community to support local lung health programs and services.
Many new and exciting additions to this year’s festival include
a Christmas tree raffle featuring five beautifully decorated trees - visitors
have a chance to win by purchasing raffle tickets at the festival. There
is also a dinner casino night at the Sudbury Race Track Slots and the
Family Pancake Breakfast features children’s performers. For more
information on these events or to volunteer please contact the Lung Association
at 673-3116.
